Scott & Murphy, Inc. is a pre-qualified and certified contractor for the Kentucky and Tennessee Departments of Transportation. We specialize in bridge construction, drainage structures, retaining walls, roadway curbs and concrete paving. Scott & Murphy, Inc. also engages in construction of water and sewer treatment facilities for both public and industrial customers.

Scott & Murphy, Inc. Bridge/Highway was responsible for the replacement of many bridges during the widening and improvement of I-65 over the decade in Warren and Simpson Counties. For 2010, SMI has just recently completed over a dozen bridges for the Pennyrile Parkway Extension to I-24 in Christian County, New bridge construction for the widening of U.S. 68/Land Between the Lakes in Trigg County and multiple bridge construction for the Glasgow Kentucky Outer Loop.

In 2011, projects include multiple bridge construction/widening for I-65 in Barren and Edmonson Counties, bridge and roadway constructions for the entrance roads/streets into the new Owensboro Medical Center (OMHS). Also included are the bridge and roadway construction of Kentucky Highway 313 in Hardin-Meade Counties.
