Scott &
Murphy, Inc. was established in January of 1983 to provide concrete construction
services to the Bowling
Green area. Our company was previously the Concrete
Division of Scotty’s Contracting, Inc. (1972), for which G. Michael
Murphy had served as Division Manager.
The newly formed company was a partnership between Scotty’s
President, James D. Scott and G. Michael Murphy. The
following year (1984), Danny J. Daniel joined
Scott & Murphy, Inc. to coordinate and manage an
added division for General Building Construction.
In 1988 G. Michael Murphy was given the
opportunity to purchase the entire ownership of
Scott & Murphy, Inc. from Mr. Scott. In January of
1998, Danny Daniel became a partner and was named President
of the Building Division of Scott & Murphy,
Inc. This division was
renamed Scott, Murphy & Daniel, LLC to recognize that partnership.
Mike Murphy serves as CEO of this company.
As
a diversified business, Scott & Murphy,
Inc. has become an industry leader in its three divisions: In the
first year, Scott & Murphy, Inc., performed sales of
$800,000 with 25 employees.
With a team of over 190 associates today, Scott & Murphy, Inc. /
Scott, Murphy & Daniel, LLC sales for 2007 were in excess
of $60,000,000.00
It is with this proven reputation

literally hundreds of projects in the local region over the last 27
years.
